Join Indivisible’s Leah Greenberg with Representatives Pramila Jayapal, Ayanna Pressley, Earl Blumenauer, and MoveOn’s Rahna Epting as we talk executive action.

Indivisibles,

Tonight, we talk executive action -- how we leverage the power of the president to make progress on issues like climate change and student debt!

We begin at 6pm ET / 3pm PT. To join:

As we introduce Indivisible’s Let’s Go Joe campaign, our own Leah Greenberg will serve as host and walk you through how we are going to push Biden to take action while introducing you to our brilliant guests:

  • Rep. Pramila Jayapal will speak about the Congressional Progressive Caucus’ 8-point policy agenda for progress through executive action.
  • Rep. Ayanna Pressley will walk us through the burden over $1.8 trillion in student debt is placing on American families and our economy, and how executive action could immediately relieve that burden.
  • Rep. Earl Blumenauer will address the urgent need to confront climate change by declaring a climate emergency.
  • MoveOn’s Rahna Epting will show us what coalition building looks like as we highlight the work of a partner organization in fighting for progress.
  • Indivisible Visibility Outreach Touch Engage (VOTE) South Arkansas Group Leader Sylvia Brown will give us an on-the-ground perspective of what it looks like to organize for change.

Since taking office, the Biden administration has rolled back some of Trump’s harmful policies, but undoing what Trump did isn’t nearly enough. We need the Biden administration to go beyond just undoing harm and to focus on proactive, affirmative progress. The reality is that American families need both legislative AND executive actions right now, in order to address the multitude of crises we face. It’s time President Biden take executive action to improve lives everywhere. We begin with two key areas of focus -- the climate crisis and student debt. Learn more about Let’s Go Joe here, and once you’re up to speed, click here to take our survey on which actions you want President Biden to prioritize.

Join us at 6pm ET / 3pm PT to hear more about the strategy behind executive action and the path forward for bold action!

Indivisible Project is a locally-led, people-powered movement of thousands of local groups in red, blue, and purple states, and in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Our mission is to power and lift up a grassroots movement of local groups to defeat the Trump agenda, elect progressive leaders, and realize bold progressive policies.

Grassroots donations, not foundations or large gifts, are our single largest source of funding. That means we’re accountable to, and fueled by, Indivisibles on the ground. Chip in $7 to keep fueling our movement.
