Here’s the good news: After this grassroots team helped drum up support for ending race-based hair discrimination, the House passed the CROWN Act — a bill to prohibit discrimination based on hairstyle in the classroom, workplace, and more.

14 of Barbara’s Republican colleagues even joined Democrats in voting to pass the act.

But our fight isn’t over. Now the CROWN Act heads to the Senate, and we need your help to force a vote and demand the Senate takes action to end hair discrimination.
