Jack, I’ve got good news, and I’ve got bad news – and since it’s day two of our Flash Victory Fund – aka less than 48 hours to raise $5,000 – if you’d like, feel free to skip the rest of this email and donate $5 right now! →
So onto the good news and the bad news.
The good news is we’re holding a Flash Victory Fund because our new maps are a huge victory! That’s not just good news – that’s great news! We’ve got a fighting chance to make massive progress at the ballot box this year.
The bad news is we’re only 25% to our $5,000 goal. We’ve got to do better, or this year will be a total bust. And just like Axios Charlotte reported, we need to step up to turn out the vote. The pressure is on.
So what does $5,000 get you? It will fund an effort to knock on 1,000 unregistered voters’ doors. It costs approximately $5 to knock on one door when you consider literature and staffing costs, pens, pencils, clipboards, water bottles – all of the things that make our field program work like a well-oiled machine. So to ensure everything runs smoothly, we need funding. Every month we have to hit our goals.
Close our funding gap now by giving $5 or whatever you can before our deadline!
In solidarity,
