Friends,
Twelve years ago today, President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law, extending access to affordable health care to tens of millions of Americans.
Since then, Democrats have built upon this progress. With the passage of the American Rescue Plan just last year, more Americans are insured now than ever before.
Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, millions of families have access to affordable, quality health care. With increased access to critical health care, we are one step closer to guaranteeing a fair shot for all Americans.
But Republicans have tried time and time again to repeal the Affordable Care Act. In 2017, Republicans voted to repeal the ACA with no replacement – a move that the Congressional Budget Office said would have left 32 million Americans uninsured.
And with this year’s midterm elections quickly approaching, Republican Senator Ron Johnson recently suggested that if his party retakes control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections, they will try to repeal the ACA again.
Every family deserves a fair shot at success. That's why Fair Shot PAC is working to elect Democrats who will replace the corrupt GOP leaders and Wall Street allies in power.
