And defeated the Republican machine to become the state senator from New York’s 34th district.

Since then, Alessandra and other progressives in the state senate have accomplished so much — including codifying legal abortion in our state, legalizing marijuana, strengthening tenant protections, and securing increased funding for public schools across the State.

But now, Alessandra is ready to take this same fighting spirit to Congress, and she needs your support to win in a crowded primary.
