I grew up with a grandmother who had come from México when she was seven years old. She was an orphan. She lost her parents and she worked as a maid, a cook, and a babysitter for her whole life. She raised my mom as a single parent, and my mom raised me and my brother as a single parent.
I think in our community people have had to deal with a lot more challenges than running for president;
and we've been determined,
and we've been persistent,
and we’ve stuck it through,
and we’ve kept going,
and we haven't quit,
and we’ve kept pushing and trying to change things.
And that's what I'm going to do. I won’t quit. We're going through, working to get to Iowa and building strength.
There are 10 weeks left until the Iowa caucus, and these days, ten weeks is ten lifetimes in politics.
Now, the DNC set these debate thresholds in place. Those are the rules that we’re operating under in this race. And of course, I'm going to operate under these rules.
But, it's wrong that people should be able to buy their way onto the stage.
Chip in now to keep us building strong and show that we won’t quit:
