Friend, think back to before the 2020 election. Donald Trump was
president. Mitch McConnell controlled the Senate. A widely available COVID
vaccine was still a far-off dream.

It hasn't been easy since then. But a lot has changed -- including control of
the Senate, and we now have a Democratic Senate majority that actually gets
things done.

Just this month, we passed legislation to save the USPS. We designated lynching
a federal hate crime. We reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act. We sent critical aid to Ukraine. And we passed one of the strongest and
boldest packages to fund our government in years. (And that's on top of the
bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that's rebuilding our roads and the American Rescue Act that got vaccines in our arms and checks in our bank accounts!)

That's what we've accomplished with a 50-50 Senate -- the absolute thinnest of
margins. Just imagine what we could do with an even stronger Democratic
