On Saturday, Mayor Lori Lightfoot held a town hall in Chicago's West Side to provide residents with the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback and inform the City's violence prevention strategy.

Violence, as Mayor Lightfoot put it, "is an expression of poverty" and our West and South side neighborhoods have been neglected for far too long. That's why, throughout her three years in office, Mayor Lightfoot has worked hard to secure long-term investments for the people, businesses, and communities that make up our South and West sides.

Throughout the next two weeks, she'll hold five more town halls across Chicago to hear directly from residents about crime and safety. Show that you support Mayor Lightfoot's town halls by making a donation before our quarterly deadline next week >>

With violent crime on the rise across the country, we need to work together to find community-led safety solutions. Hearing directly from residents will help inform the policies and partnerships aimed at reducing violence and keeping Chicagoans safe.

Making Chicago a safer city is one of Mayor Lightfoot's MOST important priorities. In fact, she introduced the city's first-ever strategic plan to address gender-based violence and human trafficking, in addition to staffing Chicago's carjacking task force 24 hours a day.

With a MAJOR fundraising deadline just over a week away, will you stand with Mayor Lori Lightfoot by chipping in any amount right now?

Thank you,
