It’s Team Lieu here asking for a minute of your time to explain why this election cycle is so important.

Since President Biden was elected we’ve:

• Passed the American Rescue Plan, which helped secure COVID-19 funding that put millions of vaccines in Americans’ arms, provided funding to reopen schools and keep them open, and facilitated the most successful economic recovery in history.
• Finally accomplished real action on our nation’s crumbling infrastructure with the Infrastructure Plan. This law will boost jobs, invest in clean air and water, and expand broadband internet access.
• Nominated the first ever Black woman to the Supreme Court. Ketanji Brown Jackson is a talented jurist and exactly the voice we need on our country’s highest bench.

And none of this would have been possible without our Democrat-controlled Congress. You can be sure that if Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy regain control of Congress, they’ll undo all the progress we’ve made and ensure we can’t pass any more critical reforms. That’s why these midterm elections matter. A lot.
