Today marks the 12th Anniversary of the enactment of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which has since made health care more accessible and equitable throughout the country since it became law. Because of the ACA, millions of people with preexisting conditions, women, seniors, people with disabilities, and communities of color have access to health insurance that they previously did not have. While we continue to celebrate this historic legislation, we know that there is still work to be done to build on the successes of the Affordable Care Act and make health care a right for all of America's families.
