John – I’m about to ask you to contribute $5 to my must-win campaign before our fast approaching FEC deadline – but first, there are a few things you should know:

• I’m running for re-election in the most competitive district in the nation. VA-02 is a pure toss-up, and Republicans are going to flood the race with millions of dollars in outside spending because they know that if they want to take back the House majority, they have to flip VA-02.
• My top Republican opponent is a far-right extremist. Jen Kiggans voted to limit trans students’ rights, wants to dictate what educators can teach in schools, and still won’t admit President Biden won the 2020 Election. We can’t let another Trump loyalist into Congress.
• I’m falling short of my end-of-quarter goal, and we only have a week to catch up. It’s vital that we hit this goal so we can run digital ads, hire staff, and meet voters where they’re at across the district.
