We must be brave enough to send real climate leaders to Washington

John,

To make the kinds of enormous changes to our political, economic and energy systems that are required to solve the climate crisis, our movement must be both fearless and strong.

We need to hold our elected officials accountable and we must be brave enough to send real climate leaders to Washington. That’s how we’re going to keep fossil fuels in the ground, build a Green New Deal, and hold the fossil fuel industry accountable for creating this climate crisis.

Make a contribution today to help 350 Action elect real climate champions in 2020!

That’s why 350 Action is rolling out endorsements for a class of real, progressive climate champions running for office in 2020. Because we deserve to be represented by people like Jessica Cisneros, running for a seat in the House of Representatives as a bold progressive fighting for a Green New Deal in the heart of Texas, and Ilhan Omar, a lightning rod for the ire of the Republican party simply for fighting for human rights, health, and justice.

We fight for these candidates because we believe in our shared values, and we believe, come 2021, we can hold them accountable for the big, visionary changes our country so desperately needs.

Will you give to 350 Action so we can keep pushing the envelope for climate action?

Our work won’t end in November 2020. No matter who steps into Congress or the White House, we’ll need to build the pressure for them to move solutions like a Green New Deal quickly. And we’ll need to hold them accountable to the promises they made on the campaign trail. To make this a reality, we need your support now more than ever, click here to contribute today.

Thank you for anything you can give, and see you in the streets (and at the ballot box!),
Jenny Marienau
