BRAVO FOR BEARS

Grrrreetings John!

Today, this World Bear Day, we are all about bears as we applaud these intelligent and opportunistic mammals.

Threatened by deforestation, hunted for ‘sport’ and exploited in captivity, bears across the world face pressure but YOU can help ensure their safe future.

ADOPT TODAY ( [link removed] )

Our mighty adopted brown bear Kyriakos ( [link removed] ) towers above the other rescued bears at Arcturos sanctuary in Greece. Just a 40cm cub when his mother was killed in 2004, today aged 17 he enjoys life in a spacious beechwood enclosure.

Meanwhile, at Animals Asia’s sanctuary in Vietnam, our amicable 10-year-old moon bear Parly ( [link removed] ) is thriving in his grassy enclosure. Confiscated from an illegal wildlife trader, he was no doubt wild-caught to be sold to a cruel bile farm.

GIFT PACK FROM JUST £3 A MONTH ( [link removed] )

The two bears live poles apart, but have one thing in common, you! Our bear adopters ensure their lives are a teddy bears’ picnic filled with fruits, vegetables, honey, eggs, roots and shoots, with space to run and climb, trees to scratch, platforms to snooze on and dens to hide in – Parly even has his own hammock, while Kyriakos takes a dip in his personal pool.

Both bears could have faced a very different future. Kyriakos could have ended up frustrated in a zoo, in a small, barren cage. Parly would likely have died in a bile farm, after enduring years of torment in a metal crate. Thankfully, this horror couldn’t be further from the pair today, enjoying healthy, happy lives.

When you adopt, you’ll help born Free fund care – for life. And, help us rescue more animals in need. We can’t wait to welcome you on board! ( [link removed] )
