This is scary, John.
The GOP is growing increasingly radical – especially in Texas. Right next door to us, Gov. Greg Abbott is pushing a far-right agenda like we've never seen before.

In just the last year, Gov. Abbott has targeted communities of color with voter suppression laws, enacted a near-total ban on abortion, and pushed some of the worst anti-LGBTQ policies in the country.
|
|
As Gov. Abbott doubles down on his far-right agenda, it's our duty to reject his radicalism. That's why I created this petition to condemn Gov. Abbott: Will you add your name before midnight to speak out against his attacks on personal freedom?

Over the last few months, we've heard horrifying stories from Texans about how Gov. Abbott's oppressive agenda has impacted their lives:
|
- Abortion ban: A woman in Texas was at risk of dying during a miscarriage. Doctors recommended an abortion – but the law didn't allow it. She had to take an emergency flight out of the state in order to survive.
|
- Anti-LGBTQ policies: Gov. Abbott is sending Family and Protective Services to investigate parents – leaving these families terrified of being split up by the state.
|
- Fear of what's next: There are hundreds of thousands of heartbreaking stories like these coming out of Texas right now, and the Texas GOP will only get worse if we don't take a stand.

That's why I need your help. It's up to us to stop GOP radicalism, and I'm counting on 50,000 concerned Americans like you to speak out against Gov. Abbott's far-right agenda before my petition closes at midnight:
