Alright, here it is: The money pouring into this race is coming from a crypto-focused super PAC owned by a crypto billionaire, and they’re spending $2 million against Carolyn despite Carolyn’s unwavering support and dedication to GA-07. They’ve already released one ad, and more are sure to follow.

We have to be clear about this: this is the darkest of dark money. These “crypto-bros” are trying to buy influence in Congress even as members of Congress are looking at ways to regulate them. For crying out loud, they don’t even have a website.

Cryptocurrency is where Russian oligarchs go to shelter their money – it’s where gun dealers and international organized crime go to launder their ill-gotten gains. This isn’t a harmless enterprise, and the group spending money against Carolyn has an agenda.
