[link removed] [[link removed]]During the 2020 election, fewer than 1% of mail ballots were rejected in Texas. But during the primary election earlier this month, a staggering 13% of ballots were rejected. That’s 1 in every 8 ballots that were not counted, keeping thousands of Texans from making their voice heard.
This is due to the new voting restrictions enacted last year. A law that only exists because of the lie that rampant voter fraud altered the results of the 2020 election. This is voter suppression.
Colin and his colleagues in the House have acted to pass multiple bills that would protect the right to vote nationwide – regardless of whether or not a state has voter suppression laws in place.
That’s why we’re asking 4,000 supporters to sign their names to our petition calling on the Senate to pass a voter protection bill and send it to President Biden’s Desk! [ [link removed]]
⚠️ 4,000 Signatures Needed ⚠️ [ [link removed]]Nearly 23,000 Texans saw their mail ballots rejected by election officials. That’s 23,000 folks whose voices were silenced. This is unacceptable, and we can’t accept inaction.
So join us in demanding that the Senate move forward on legislation to combat voter suppression RIGHT NOW by adding your name here. [ [link removed]]
⚠️ 4,000 Signatures Needed ⚠️ [ [link removed]]Thank you for standing side by side with Colin on this issue.
