Folks, I have a question:

If all it took to preserve and expand our Democratic majorities, transition our country to clean energy, and lower costs for families was a contribution worth as much as a cup of coffee — would you do it?

I’m sure you see where I’m going here, but it’s really that simple. Small, grassroots contributions from emails like this one make a huge difference in our fight to defend our razor-thin majority, even as national Republicans raise astronomical sums to flip the Senate.

Personally, I only drink coffee when I really need it. But if Mitch McConnell takes back the gavel, I’m probably going to need two or three cups of coffee just to get through the day — and I wouldn’t blame you if you felt the same.

That can be an expensive habit. And since our first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of 2022 is just over a week away, that’s why I’m kindly asking for you to chip in anything you can right now — even if it’s one cup of coffee’s worth.
