It is with great sadness that I write to share the news of Margie Canfield’s passing.
Margie served the Republican Party, the state of Kansas, and her community tirelessly over the course of her 91 years, and I was lucky to know her. Before, during, and after my tenure as KS GOP chair, Margie worked in the Republican Party office and was a true blessing to my team and all our candidates. Her absence has already been felt throughout the state, and she will continue to be missed.
Margie’s funeral will be held at First Congregational Church in Topeka this Thursday, March 24 at 2:00 pm. Her family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Her full obituary can be found by clicking here.
