Holding town hall meetings across the district is one of the most important ways that I stay in touch with constituents. While we may not always see eye-to-eye on each and every issue, the exchange of ideas is fundamental to serving the needs of Central Virginians.

Taking the time to listen to constituents isn’t just an important part of my job – it’s crucial for a strong democracy and informed representation.

When we listen to one another, we’re much more likely to find common ground and solutions to our shared concerns.

As I have every day since I was sworn into Congress, I will continue to work hard to listen to the needs of Central Virginians and to focus on the issues that are so pressing for families across the state.
