Confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji
Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court are underway, and this
historic nomination is long overdue.
Black women have been leaders as lawyers and judges for generations. But
one thing will stand out when the full Senate votes on Judge Jackson in
the coming days: of the 100 Senators in the room, not one will be a Black
woman.
Our time has come, finally, in 2022 to make it to the highest court in the
land. And on our campaign, we also have a chance to make history by
electing the first Black woman to represent Ohio in the U.S. Senate.

chip in $15 to help fuel our history-making movement?

Despite this huge milestone, and Judge Jackson’s impressive record, the
GOP is already making baseless attacks on Judge Jackson’s character and
qualifications. And with a razor-thin 50 seat Democratic majority in the
Senate, we need all the votes we can get.

majority with a Senator who’s ready to make some history of her own. Can
