The First Ever #DayofEmpathy Week of Impact is Here

The countdown to the first ever #DayOfEmpathy Week of Impact is on. Beginning Monday, March 28th, justice-impacted organizers across the country will lead events where people from all walks of life will gather to fight for criminal justice reform on a state and federal level.

 

Nearly 2.2 million people are currently incarcerated in the United States because of a broken criminal justice system. The #DayofEmpathy Week of Impact is a celebration of redemption, forgiveness, and unity. We are building a movement that uplifts those closest to the problem, and we hope you’ll help us by turning empathy into action to drive an equitable future for all.

 

How can you join?

• Find an event near you, or join a virtual event!
• Tune into our live stream on Tuesday, April 5th at 5:30pm PST/8:30pm EST at dayofempathy.org
• Call 1-202-851-8011 to contact your Senators in support of the EQUAL Act on Tuesday, April 5th, in solidarity with our Empathy Network.
• Check in to @dreamJUSTICE Twitter for ways to support our systems-impacted leaders during the Week of Impact
• Donate to support the justice impacted advocates tackling mass incarceration
