This week, the Senate began confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s historic nomination to the Supreme Court. If confirmed, Judge Jackson will be our country’s first Black woman Supreme Court Justice.

When We All Vote is proud to stand in full support of Judge Jackson, one of our nation’s brightest legal minds. As a profoundly qualified person with a proven record of putting equal justice above all else, Judge Jackson will truly be a justice for all Americans.

Tomorrow, When We All Vote and United State of Women are hosting a Day of Action action to mobilize folks in support of Judge Jackson’s nomination, and we need *YOU* to join us.

So why now? We know that as the first Black woman to be nominated to the Supreme Court, Judge Jackson will face harsh criticism. For decades, women have been subject to stereotypes and tropes about qualifications, leadership, looks, relationships, and experience, which have often been weaponized against Black and Brown women.
