I am honored that the Planned Parenthood Action Fund of the Pacific Southwest has endorsed our race for San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk. I am deeply humbled by this endorsement and pledge to uphold Planned Parenthood’s values of standing up for women's rights and health when leading an important County organization that employs hundreds of San Diegans.
Last week, I also formally qualified to appear on the ballot, which solidifies the dynamics of this race and that I will need to raise more money to take on my well-funded, right-wing opponent.
