Before we kick off our next big vaccine program, we wanted to take a moment to introduce our partner, Reaching Care. Their mission is to help provide accessible healthcare to all– a core value we hold here at Open Progress. 
 

This small team of amazing people has been working tirelessly during the pandemic to help people in need access COVID-19 vaccines and tests. You may remember texting with them last year in Detroit, Michigan, where we successfully helped 10% of everyone contacted get vaccinated, one of our most successful programs to date. 
 

We are thrilled to announce that our next program will focus on rural areas, which suffer from some of the lowest vaccination / booster rates in the US. Rural residents face a number of barriers to getting the COVID-19 vaccine: distance to a vaccine site, supply issues, or lack of reliable transportation.
 

It’s critical that folks get vaccinated. The more people are vaccinated, the closer we get to ending this pandemic and mitigating the damage of future variants. 
 

To maximize our impact in these underserved areas, we will need additional funds for outreach. All of these conversations are powered by donations and would not be possible without you.
