Yesterday, a smacking ban in Wales came into force. Loving parents now risk criminal prosecution for parenting in the same way as countless generations have done before them.
I spoke with our Deputy Director for Public Affairs Simon Calvert about the misinformation circulating in the media and some of the implications for families.
Please pray that family life will be protected from unwarranted state interference. Pray too for Simon as he speaks out on this, and so many other issues of concern.
