The Ohio Theatre in Toledo just announced a federal grant to renovate their historic facade, and expand their children’s theatre program. This federal grant is one of nine community projects for which Marcy secured funding.

Aimee Reid, executive artistic director of Ohio Theatre's parent organization, said the $2.5 million secured by Rep. Kaptur is a breath of fresh air: “It's so humbling because we're this little nonprofit of theater kids, so just to be elevated like that to this level of significance. And it has a lot to do with Ms. Kaptur's commitment to the neighborhood.”
