This is a photo of the very first moment I came onto the stage when the American Idol tour came through the Triangle – the first time I returned home after the show ended. I keep a copy in my office as a constant reminder that the opportunities I have to be in service today were given to me by the people of this area. My neighbors, my fellow North Carolinians. It’s also a reminder that with a large platform, comes a large responsibility — and I want to make sure I use it well.

The people of North Carolina are the reason I was able to stand on that stage. My hometown gave me my voice… and I want to use my platform to help the people who gave it to me.

We’re in the final stretch before the election, so we need to make sure that my message gets to as many North Carolinians as possible. If you’re able, could you chip in $11 to help get my message to more voters?

Through the spotlight American Idol gave me, I was able to start the National Inclusion Project. Since its founding, National Inclusion Project has partnered with some of the country’s largest youth organizations and most prestigious educational institutions, trained hundreds of industry leaders, and facilitated inclusive opportunities for over 15,000 children each year. It is my hope that through the National Inclusion Project, I will be able to give back to children with disabilities In North Carolina and beyond for years to come.

That’s what this race is all about to me… using my platform to give back to the home that gave me everything.

If you’re able, please consider donating $11 to my campaign. I am ready to raise my voice for North Carolina’s 4th congressional district with the full amplification that my platform provides. Because that’s what North Carolinians deserve!

Thank you,

Clay

Clay is running for Congress in the North Carolina 4th congressional district. He was born, raised, and is currently raising his son in the Triangle. He's running to use his voice to speak up and stop the loudest voices on the far ends of the political spectrum from sucking up all the oxygen in our political discourse.

Donate now to join the chorus and help send Clay to Congress.
