Friend,

Amazon workers in Staten Island’s JFK8 warehouse are working to be the first recognized Amazon Labor Union in New York, and they need our help now. Starting on March 25th, all workers at the JFK8 facility will have the opportunity to vote to form a union. Organizing an Amazon union in New York, concurrently with workers across the country, will allow members to have a collective bargaining agreement, the most powerful document a worker can have.

Tonight at 6 pm, the Amazon Labor Union will be hosting their last phone bank to workers before the election and they need all hands on deck to get this vote passed.

This weekend I had the opportunity to speak at the Amazon Labor Union rally. As the Senate Labor Committee Chair, I urged Amazon workers to vote to unionize. Union organizing secures workers’ dignity, equal pay, and protects workers from harassment. We must ensure workers’ rights are put first, and a vote to unionize will provide so many workers with a path to the middle class. Will you sign up to phone bank today?

I’m so excited to welcome the Amazon Labor Union into the New York labor family and for them to be a catalyst for workers to unionize across the country!

Vote yes to unionize on March 25th!

In Solidarity,

Jessica Ramos
