Dear ,

We are excited to announce our upcoming online cohort for the Leadership & Organizational Seasons Course this June 1st to June 20th, 2022.

This 4 week cohort is meant to provide an accessible experience in our busy schedules to learn a key tool for social change.

In the cohort we will explore the concept of Seasonality by understanding own leadership cycle, exploring the gifts and purpose of each Season, defining the Seasonal cycles of your organization, and exploring the narratives that support us through the different Seasons.

The purpose of the cohort is to provide a 4 week deepening and immersive learning experience in which participants join others and go through the content of the self-paced course together. Participants engage in individual and group exercises on the course material, share reflections and ask questions, through weekly virtual calls that reinforce their practice.

Alongside our weekly cohort sessions we will provide office hours for those who enroll to receive support and ask questions on the course material.

What is the Leadership & Organizational Seasons Cohort about?

The Leadership and Organizational Seasons framework is about the cyclical patterns that exist in our leadership and social movement organizations. Seasons and cycles help us to understand, appreciate and protect the ebbs and flows that occur throughout our time in this work.

As we’ve experienced in this work, there are times when we’re externally focused and there’s energy to do the work at hand. On the other hand, there are times when our energy is focused internally - where we seem dormant to the outside world.

We believe that each stage in this cycle has a purpose, gifts, and limits that can be applied to our lives, leadership, organizations, and movements. In this cohort we dive into our leadership and organizational seasons specifically, and provide answers to some of the common questions that come up when we’ve previously shared the framework:
* What do Seasons look like in my leadership? What should I be doing and how can I get support?
* How can we integrate Seasonality into our work and lives? What are some next steps I can take?
* What should we do if I’m in one Season and my organization is in another?

This content is part of a larger set of concepts that are in our Social Movement Course, which is an 11 module self paced course, topics like Foundational Theories of Change or Popular Support are covered there and will not be covered in this cohort since we are focusing on Leadership and Organizational Seasons. We hope to provide cohorts for those other topics at a later time.
