John,

We have always known that Dan Lipinski doesn’t stand for Democratic values. But just last night, the Chicago Sun Times reported on an internal campaign strategy document for Lipinski that confirmed what we always knew -- Dan Lipinski is strategically targeting Republicans to vote in the Democratic primary.

In the leaked memo, Lipinski’s strategy includes “pitching Republicans by highlighting his vote against Obamacare while wooing independents by reminding them he opposed its repeal.”

The memo also suggested the campaign target Latinx voters with Lipinski’s “pro-Dreamer votes” while Republicans would be targeted with “pro border patrol” messaging.

This is unacceptable. Dan Lipinski is selling out the Democratic Party and his constituents.

We need your help to defeat him and replace him with a real Democrat.

Dan Lipinski knows that the only way he can win this race is by deceiving the people of Illinois’ Third District. He knows that this district and the Democratic Party have moved past him, and the only way to keep his seat is to target Republicans.

I’m running because it is time that this district has a real Democrat with a real plan.

Whether I’m talking to conservatives, moderates, or progressives, my message doesn’t change.

But I need your help. Despite Dan’s plan to target Republican voters and mislead his constituents, he continues to have the full support of the Democratic establishment.

Can I count on you to donate today, to send a message that we will not stand for Dan Lipinski’s deception?

With gratitude,

Marie
