We’ve got another troubling disinformation report from NBC News, team:
We’ve seen a worrying trend in the rapid rise of Spanish-language conspiracy theories and disinformation in recent years. With a critical midterm election just months away, experts are warning against yet another wave of disinformation proliferated on social media platforms, messaging apps, and local radio.
United We Dream Action is fighting to level the playing field by leading disinformation defense efforts. Will you chip in to support our work to hold platforms accountable and stop the spread of harmful disinformation?

Not only will racialized, anti-immigrant disinformation erode trust in elections and make it even more difficult for pro-immigrant candidates to win over voters, but it’s also an existential threat to the lives of immigrants across the country.
United We Dream Action isn’t new to this fight, though. Since our inception, we’ve emerged as a leader in fighting back against lies, propaganda, and disinformation.
We’ve helped root out DACA scams and built resources like the “Know Your Rights” and “Know Your Power” guides to empower immigrants in their interactions with enforcement agencies. ICE, CBP, and law enforcement use deceptive tactics to take advantage of and target our community through detention and deportation, and these guides help immigrants better navigate these situations.
But the work doesn’t stop there. Disinformation defense is one of our key priorities for 2022 and we need your support to keep up the fight. Chip in $10 or more to fuel our efforts to root out disinformation in all its forms.
