I search, you search, we all search (for ice cream?)
------------------------------------------------------------
At the time of this writing, I have just arrived in the Chicago area. All my belongings are in a warehouse somewhere in Toledo. Moving is fun.
Sarcasm aside, a cross-country move does feel very significant. This moment marks a new chapter in my life, my marriage, my ministry, and my career. It feels like an important moment in my journey—and this sense that my life is a journey has helped me connect deeply with the Century's brand new podcast series In Search Of ([link removed]) . You can click that link to listen to the first three episodes, or if you prefer the written word, you can read transcripts of two of the interviews that also appeared in our magazine: one with translator Carmen Acevedo Butcher ([link removed]) and one with ethnobotanist Gary Nabhan ([link removed]) .
We also have other great new content about searching. Brian Bantum reflects on the relationship between his faith and his spouse's ministry ([link removed]) . There is a profile of Amara Ifeji, who is on a quest for intersecting forms of justice ([link removed]) . And there is a poem about intimacy ([link removed]) in, of all places, a COVID testing line.
What are you searching for? (Feel free to email me your answer.)
