Dear John,

We've been spending a lot of time on the ground throughout the district, and the local press has taken notice.

Last week, Lindsey had the opportunity to sit down with the local news site, Bklyner. They noted:

"Boylan, 35, exudes energy and impatience with the status quo. She is attentive and focused on listening and finding pragmatic solutions to their problems – residents in her district haven’t been listened to for a long time, she says, as we sit down to talk about her run and issues important to her district – the rise in white nationalism, hate crimes, NYCHA, affordable housing, and climate change. It is obvious how passionate and knowledgeable Boylan is about issues that affect her community." ^1

And just yesterday, Lindsey did a radio interview with the show "Advocating for Justice". Host Arthur Schwartz said he was ready to take her to task about running against Congressman Nadler, but found that she had more substance than she's painted in some corners — and that's why he wanted to have her on the show. ^2

Lindsey spoke about the issues that are core to her platform including mental health, prioritizing NYCHA on a daily basis, and how we are currently facing a return to an extreme gilded age.

But more important, Lindsey talked about the fact that she was not 'invited' to run for Congress, and that there were plenty of people who tried to hold her back with veiled threats and outright hostility. But, she explained, that only motivates her more.

That is one of the reasons I love working with Lindsey: Nothing is going to scare her from stepping up to fight for the needs of our district and advocate for the changes that need to be made.

Donate $5, $10, or $20 if you believe in our fight for a better future. ([link removed])

Our momentum continues to build — I hope you'll support us as we continue to grow this grassroots effort.

Best,
