KS House Republicans have proposed a redistricting map, Freestate 3, that would yet again gerrymander Democrats out of their seats, including the first openly gay representative in the KS House, Rep. Brandon Woodard.

These proposed maps also split apart communities, such as Leavenworth, in order to remove areas of vocal opposition to current elected Republican representatives.

Kansas Republicans seem set on trying to determine the outcomes of future elections in their favor, stepping over whatever marginalized peoples they see fit in order to grab power.
