The day before we had no real debate whatsoever on a provision that gives the President power to go after virtually anyone, anywhere in the world, in the name of “human rights.”
They snuck this provision into a larger bill restricting trade with Russia. This is typical swamp behavior to latch these shady, ill-defined power grabs onto bills that most of Congress ostensibly supports, like standing with Ukraine.
No one talks about it; everyone votes for it. And Boom! Joe Biden has way more power than he did yesterday.
We couldn’t possibly have an actual debate about what's going on in Ukraine, how we should respond and what the implications of expanding the power of the executive branch might be.
That would be too…hairy?
And the only hairy situation Pelosi and the establishment are willing to talk about is actual hair. (Which as a bald man, I take offense to!)
