It's a given that we need to defeat President Trump in 2020 -- but taking back the Senate from the GOP has to also be at the very top of our priority list. Without defeating Mitch McConnell and giving Democrats control of the Senate, we won't be able to move our country forward.

On crucial issues ranging from health care, to gun reform, to immigration, McConnell and the GOP are standing in the way. They won't even allow a vote on issues that should be above partisanship, like reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act or securing our elections.

We've had enough of the GOP's extreme partisanship and obstruction. It's time to defeat them. That's why it's so important that we meet this goal and keep our urgent fight charging ahead.
