Congratulations to Jennifer for correctly identifying the Haas Halo, hydrangea arborescens. According to Mt Cuba Center ([link removed]) , the native hydrangea, Haas Halo, is good in full sun or in shade, has oversized lacecap flower heads, and stands upright. It is a great combination of horticultural and pollinator value.
