Hey team,

I wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for taking our 2022 Priorities Survey a few weeks ago and to report back with the results.

Of all of the issues you want Shannon and me to prioritize when we get to Annapolis, three stood out:

* Voting Rights
* Climate Action
* Health Care

All of these issues are of critical importance. The right to vote is under attack like never before, and Maryland needs to do more to make it even easier for folks to cast their ballot. The future of our state depends on slowing the pressing threat of Climate Change through immediate investment in green energy jobs and offshore wind. And we need healthy people to work those jobs – Maryland's next Governor must make lowering prescription drug prices and access to affordable health care a priority.

Shannon and I have plans to address all of these issues – and more – starting on day one in office, but we need your grassroots support to get there.

Team, these problems are not easy ones to solve, but I know what it's like to take on tough fights and bring folks together to win – I've done it my entire career. First as a civil rights attorney, then as President of the Montgomery County Council, Maryland Labor Secretary, President Obama's head of Civil Rights, U.S. Labor Secretary, and DNC chair.

I intend to keep taking on tough fights and making the people of Maryland my top priority as Governor, but I can't do it without your support.
