** CLC Wins Victory for Late-Jailed Voters in Ohio ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
People who are in jail before their trial have the right to vote. A person’s ability to cast a ballot should not be determined by the date of their arrest or their ability to pay bail.
On Nov. 6, 2019, a federal judge ruled in a lawsuit brought by CLC and partners in Ohio, ordering the state to discontinue its practice of disenfranchising eligible voters arrested and held in pre-trial detention in the final days preceding an election. ** CLC Urges Georgia Secretary of State to Halt Planned Voter Registration Purge ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
We have grave concerns regarding the planned purge of over 300,000 Georgia voters from the voter registration list.
** Giuliani Should Comply with Federal Ethics Laws Due to Assigned Role in U.S. Ukraine Diplomacy ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
Rudy Giuliani has been tasked with conducting U.S. foreign policy while retaining unknown private clients, and should be subject to the conflict of interest laws that apply to federal employees.

------------------------------------------------------------
Federal transparency rules for political ads are woefully outdated. It is vital that we update our transparency laws to reflect current technology — and to guard against foreign interference.
