The stakes couldn’t be higher in Texas. Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas GOP have ruthlessly attacked reproductive rights, undermined democracy, and failed to protect the healthcare of Texas families. Texans deserve so much better — and that’s why I’m supporting Beto O’Rourke in his fight to be Texas’ next Governor.

Look, beating an incumbent like Greg Abbott won’t be easy. Governor Abbott’s campaign is flush with cash, and the Texas GOP is pushing the same anti-democratic voting restrictions we’ve seen from Republican extremists in Michigan and across our country.
Defeating Abbott is urgent. We already saw it most clearly when he signed an unconstitutional law that virtually eliminates a woman’s right to choose in Texas.
The good news is that Beto has what it takes to win.
In his run for Senate in 2018, he built an unprecedented people-powered campaign that brought historic numbers of new voters to the Texas polls.
I know he can do it again with our help.
