John,

Paul LePage is running for an unprecedented third term, claiming that he’s cleaned up his act. Well, the Bangor Daily News reported, “Plenty of the old LePage is still there” while the Portland Press Herald said, “The new Paul LePage looks a lot like the old one.”

Whether Paul LePage is any different is up to you to decide.

But here’s what we think: Janet Mills didn’t need eight years to figure out how to lead. She’s always treated people with dignity and respect, and she will continue to – because it’s nothing new for her, it’s just who she is.

That’s the type of leadership Maine deserves, and it’s what Janet has delivered since day one. She's steady, decisive, hardworking, kind, and focused on results for Maine people.

This is going to be a close election, and we’re going to be fighting every day to keep Governor Mills in the Blaine House. It’s going to take all of us to win. So will you make a contribution of $15 today to keep our momentum going all the way to November?
