For decades, Democrats and Republicans have promised to lower prescription drug costs. But every time Washington gets close, Big Pharma steps in, and politicians cave — allowing these big drug companies to rake in record profits while regular people have to choose between groceries and life-saving medicine.

It’s time to change that — which is why our campaign just released a brand-new TV ad calling out Republicans like Ron Johnson, and even some Democrats, for failing to take on the big pharmaceutical companies and bring down costs.

Sarah is focused on building an agenda for all Wisconsinites so that we can get this U.S. Senate seat working for everyone again. That’s why she’s been out on the road having important conversations to help shape what we’re fighting for in this campaign.

Just a few weeks ago, Sarah hosted a roundtable discussion in Green Bay to hear directly from Wisconsinites about how Washington inaction has failed them for too long. Today, she’s in Milwaukee to discuss her plan to rein in skyrocketing drug costs and take on Big Pharma.

Here’s what Sarah believes we need to do:

- Allow Medicare to negotiate for lower drug prices
- Push for an out-of-pocket cap on prescription drug costs for seniors
- Cap the price of insulin and other widely-used drugs
- Stop Big Pharma from hiking up prices beyond the rate of inflation
- Eliminate the tax giveaway for Big Pharma and hold them accountable
- End patent thicket maneuvering so low-cost generic drugs can be produced
- Create an international price index to prevent drug companies from price gouging Americans

The system is broken, and Ron Johnson isn’t doing anything to fix it. We need to replace him with someone who actually gives a damn about working families — and is willing to get out there and fight for them.

That’s why Sarah is running for U.S. Senate, and unlike Ron Johnson, she’ll never stop showing up, listening, and working as hard as possible to get results. But flipping any seat from red to blue is a challenge. It’s an effort that requires a LOT of resources.

While we’re creating an agenda that works for everyone and getting our message out across the state — on the ground and on the airwaves — we’re hoping we can count on you to help us replace Ron Johnson with a U.S. Senator who will actually deliver results.

Please consider making a small contribution to our campaign so we can keep having these important conversations with Wisconsin voters and reaching them on TV. Every dollar helps us build the kind of campaign that can compete *everywhere* and talk to everyone — that’s how we’re going to win. [[link removed]]

Your generous support directly funds our work on the ground and on the airwaves in Wisconsin, and we can’t thank you enough for chipping in what you can when you can. We’re officially in the next phase of the campaign, and if you stick with Sarah, we can make it all the way to the finish line.

Let’s win this, together.
