Our recovery plan is working! Canadians added 337,000 jobs in February. That’s incredible progress. Thanks to the hard work of Canadians, our unemployment level is now even lower than it was pre-pandemic, and we are well on our way to creating even more jobs and middle class growth as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and build a better future for all Canadians.

We’re making affordable child care a reality across Canada! Our Liberal government is continuing to make life easier and more affordable for families, grow the middle class, create jobs, help parents return to the workforce, and give kids a better start in life.

That’s why our Liberal team is investing in public transit and transportation, from connecting local communities to the largest transportation infrastructure project in Canada’s history – high frequency rail connecting Quebec City and Toronto.

This weekend, Liberal volunteers across the country will be participating in an important Day of Action and connecting with Canadians.

Together, we’re moving forward on important priorities like continuing to keep Canadians safe and supported through COVID-19, accelerating the fight against climate change, creating new jobs and middle class growth, making affordable child care a reality for all Canadian families, putting home ownership back in reach, advancing reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, and so much more.

Right now, we’re only a few weeks away from our first end-of-quarter deadline of 2022, which means we’ll have to step up our work to make sure we hit our first big goal of the year!
