Friends — my team reached out recently to let you know that eight Republicans have jumped in this race against us.

This significantly changes the landscape of our race, so today, I’m asking you to make a recurring contribution of just $5 or more to my campaign.

I won’t lie to you — the stakes here are high. One candidate in the Republican primary ran for Congress in 2006 and threw more than a million of her own dollars into her campaign, and she can do it again.

That’s in addition to the millions of dollars that Republican mega-donors could pour into this race.
