In March 2021, Congressional Democrats and President Biden passed the American Rescue Plan, a spending package that fastracked cash relief to Americans and established funds to stop the spread of COVID-19 once and for all.

One year later, America continues to rebound: unemployment is near pre-pandemic levels, 3 in 5 Americans are fully vaccinated, millions received much needed economic assistance that kept working families afloat, and so much more.

And yet despite the necessity of the bill during one of the worst economic downturns in American history, not one Republican voted for this bill, opting to obstruct our economic recovery instead.

Well, obstruction is what they do best, and what they plan to do should they take the House this November.

Friends, if the government is to continue working for the people, then we must defend our majority and ensure that in January 2023, Democrats are still in the driver’s seat. That is why we need your support now more than ever as the midterm election inches closer and closer. Will you contribute whatever you can today and defend our Democratic majority?

In addition to economic relief for the most vulnerable, the American Rescue Plan provided funding we needed to combat the virus: vaccine distribution, federal support for testing and vaccination sites, and viral treatment for those infected by a virus that killed nearly 1 million Americans.

And now, one year later, we are finally starting to see some level of normalcy thanks in part to Democratic policies. Contribute whatever you can today and defend our majority. Let’s continue down the road to recovery together!
