Very soon, Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is expected to sign a law that recently passed the state Senate banning abortion after 15 weeks. It’s a continuation of what is a massive wave of new reproductive rights restrictions in GOP-controlled states.

This law is incredibly restrictive. It makes no exceptions for rape, incest, or human trafficking, not taking into account at all the life-changing destruction this could cause for pregnant people. Floridians deserve a Dem AG who will advocate for them and their reproductive freedom.

Florida’s Republican AG Ashley Moody has been a rubber stamp for Governor DeSantis and former President Trump, endorsing their agenda at every step.
