Between figures like Kevin McCarthy standing in the way of progress, Marjorie Taylor Greene attending a white supremacist conference, and Madison Cawthorn calling the Ukrainian President a “thug,” it’s clear the GOP is full of bad apples. The extremist right-wing has seized total control of the GOP, and they’re here to stay.

The problem is that we can’t afford their distractions and stonewalling – winters are getting shorter, sea levels are rising, and natural disasters are intensifying. We have work to do.
