Hi Friend -
I wanted to send a quick ask for help as a leader in your state. We're facing a critical moment in Washington - and your lawmakers need to hear directly from you.

At this perilous time on the global stage, it is essential that America continues to lead on all fronts - protecting the security, economic, and health interests of American families from rising global threats.

As we witness impressive bipartisan unity on American leadership to help Ukraine, we saw some disappointing news recently when policymakers failed to get a critical global COVID relief bill across the finish line.

Here's why this is critical: With new and growing COVID-19 surges in Europe and Asia, it is even more important for America to step up the global response to the pandemic.

* To date - even with significant COVID relief resources - just 0.3% of resources have gone to the U.S. global response - not enough when it's a global pandemic.

* While USAID and other partners are making impressive progress to reach "last mile" locations, experts are warning that more U.S. resources are needed to help save lives and protect our citizens from new and dangerous virus variants.

* The Administration has requested and Congress is currently considering at least $5 billion in targeted new emergency COVID-19 funding.

Write to your lawmaker now

As you know - we only ask when it really matters and this is a key moment for your lawmakers to hear directly from you.

Your voice is so important to this work - thank you for your partnership with USGLC.

Best,
Jason
