On March 20, 1854, the Republican Party was founded in a little white schoolhouse in Ripon, Wisconsin by independent thinkers who sought to oppose the spread of slavery in the western territories.
Today, Republicans remain independent thinkers, lovers of liberty, and defenders of individual rights. From Abraham Lincoln to Donald Trump, the Republican Party has continued to fight for the Constitution, individual liberty, and the values the American people represent.
