Biden made the decision a long time ago to throw all in with the radical left. He promised to hold back U.S. energy production and he did just that. With the swipe of his pen, he:
- Canceled the Keystone XL pipeline;
- Restricted drilling in parts of the Arctic Ocean, Bering Sea, and federal lands;
- Placed a moratorium on new oil and gas leases on federal land;
- Rescinded energy production leases;
- Announced plans to close nearly half of the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska;
- Put in place stringent new regulations on methane emissions from oil and gas production, and more....
The average U.S. household in 2021 spent an extra $600 in higher gasoline costs and $70 in higher electricity costs due to the Biden administration's energy policies.
That was BEFORE Putin mobilized a single troop toward Ukraine. Energy independence = national security.
